If time is of essence just read the highlights!
I was brought up in Greece and have pretty much wanted to be an Interior Designer all my adult life.
A bit of dedication, a stretch every morning that ‘obviously’ made me tall and I was bought by a Premiership Basketball team in Athens where I gained a six pack and the importance of working together as a Team to achieve a common goal.
My teen decorating attempts with Mel Gibson, Madonna and Top Gun posters were calling me back, and after graduating from high school I decided to join the rest of my family in the UK and study Interior Design. With no money, my sister and I both worked ourselves through the university years. This time was about hard work made fun but mostly the determination to achieve the goal that was set.
I joined PDP Interior Design as soon as I graduated and fell in with some good mentoring and trusting hands. During my time at PDP I was able to work in many sectors and gain lots of experience a highlight of which was my role on The Base. It was a project I had worked on for 6 years and within the month before completion I run my 1st Marathon in London and turned 30!
After such events a move was needed and I joined careyjones interiors where I gained additional types of experience and was presented the opportunity to really get under the skin of Sustainability issues. During this time I joined the Ska Rating Committee and have started driving change in the sector.
I am now starting my own design practice. Every day is an opportunity and its down to me, you and the people we work with to make it a success.
