Grigoriou Interiors were bought in during the design phase of our office fit out at Porchester Road to initially provide advice on the environmental accreditation SKA and the benefits of integrating it into the project both for its environmental and sustainability advantages, but also importantly for employee well-being in the space. Their role progressed into full integration in the project team throughout the design and fit out phases, up-skilling us as a client, the contractor and the rest of the consultants, designers and supply chain. Elina, Angeliki and the rest of the GI team’s drive and enthusiasm helped us achieve a Gold Rating, which contributed to the successful delivery of the office space to two Virgin companies.

Oliver Shaw, Commercial Manager Virgin Management Limited

“Elina’s amazing vision and strong care and diligence were evident from the very start. We had numerous meetings where we talked about our values, the vision we have for the space, the purpose of the space and the ideal customer experience and worked with Elina to create a space that as soon as people walked into they felt relaxed. Elina totally understood the importance of creating a space that valued people’s wellbeing and listened fully to what we were trying to achieve. The amazing attention to detail and understanding of the subtleties and psychology of people and space impressed us greatly. We felt safely and creatively guided through an amazing journey of inspiration where we learnt so many things that have impacted our social enterprise for the better. We regularly get comments on how amazing and relaxed our customers feel when entering the space and if it had not been for the vision and care that we received from Grigoriou Interiors, we would not have had such an amazing result. I highly recommend these wonderful people to anyone thinking of transforming a space! “

Rosa Connor, Director and Co-founder Museum of Happiness

Together, we had set out to set a new direction for the company and the industry, embracing sustainability principles in a tangible, credible and measurable way. Mission accomplished. Not only did our presence look fresh, modern and resonated with the customers. Beyond that, Starwood positioned itself as a leader and innovator, again! You have put enormous effort into this and collaborated with our complex organization very well! I want to say thank you and job well done! We learned a lot from you and look forward to more.”

Oliver Bonke, SVP | Sales & Marketing EMEA, Starwood Hotels & Resorts

Grigoriou Interiors truly are the best at understanding the requirements and possibilities that come alongside sustainable design. Their knowledge and design capacities are limitless.”

Gabriela Hersham, Co-Founder & CEO, Huckletree

Elina has been a most professional and skilled individual and it has been a pleasure to work with her. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to any future clients…”

General Manager, Property & Facilities,
Virgin Atlantic Airways

We were delighted to achieve a Gold Ska Rating for the fit-out of our new London HQ in February 2015. Elina provided assessment of the project but more important was her advisory capacity. We brought Elina onto the project early on and I would advise the earlier the better. She guided the project team through the Ska Rating process and requirements, helped on aspects of strategy and ran workshops with the contractors. Her on-going advise on aspects such as materials, products and waste was highly valued by the design and fit-out teams. Elina always brought enthusiasm and positivity to the project but also never shied away from asking the difficult questions. Elina certainly delivered on her service promises and provided excellent value for money. I recommend Elina to any team wishing to embed environmental and wellbeing aspects into their fit-out and she is the expert on Ska Rating.”

Alastair Mant, Head of Sustainability & part of the project delivery team for Bilfinger GVA’s London HQ, GVA

The Ska presentations made to our leasing and development teams were easy to grasp, on message and focused on the real issues of sustainable fit-out in commercial property. We are now more confident to approach our tenants and start a dialogue around Ska, which will hopefully facilitate a more sustainable approach to fit-out.”

John Davies, Sustainability Manager, Derwent London

Angeliki and Elina understood the result I was looking to achieve right from the outset and delivered a look and feel to the house which more than met my expectations”

My colleagues and I at Construction Youth Trust are delighted with our newly refurbished offices in the Building Centre. The space has had a complete make-over with Elina of Grigoriou Interiors working with the Trust staff to ensure that the redesign meets our needs and increases workability and wellbeing. Elina and her colleagues have worked with us to make the space light, friendly, welcoming and a great space to work. Before the makeover we were reluctant to bring visitors into the space – that is certainly not the case now! We are now very proud of where we work and the morale and output has gone right up. We have all learnt the benefits of good interior design and can share much better with our Budding Brunel students the importance of the relationship between consultants and clients to make a space more than an office. The Mace supply chain worked closely with Elina and her team to ensure that the works were done effectively and efficiently and in the main all pro bono. Thank you from a very happy Construction Youth Trust.”

Christine Townley, Executive Director, Construction Youth Trust

Grigoriou Interiors assisted us with a SKA rating benchmarking exercise for one of our retail stores. They introduced us to the process and practise of SKA rating, assisted with evidence identification and questions from sub-contractors, explained how SKA rating could reduce environmental impacts on the project, and provided insights and recommendations to take forward. They were encouraging and informative throughout the process and we learnt a lot about SKA and the environmental impacts of our fit-out process through working with them.”

Max Delplanque, Store Development Project Manager, Oasis

Our team found the ‘Designing Wellbeing in the Workplace’ training days a really exceptional piece of training. The engaging approach initially de-constructed the fundamentals of wellbeing and then built up an array of tools and approaches for our designers to consider during future projects. Much of our team left the session feeling both energised and inspired by Elina’s passion for designing spaces which maximise occupant wellbeing.”

Dr Joe Croft, Head of Environmental and Sustainability, Overbury & Morgan Lovell

GI listened, heard and designed – turning an old and dark house into a warm, cheerful and light home for us. We bought a Grade 2 property, in which a lady had lived since 1947. The house needed reconfiguring and updating; every proposed change needed Planning approval. Elina spent time a lot of time with us to fully understand what we wanted and how we liked to live. She listened deeply, hearing ‘behind the words’ and produced a design that not only passed the Planners but produced a home for us. We used as much eco-friendly and reclaimed materials as we could afford; installed wonderful lighting that suited each room; reconfigured complete floors to give extra space and light. As well as designing and implementing the ‘structure’ of the house, Elina guided us with paint colours, furniture and how to place it, art work, etc. So GI gave us a start-to-finish service – all delivered with smiles and understanding. They have been a joy to work with!”

Mr & Mrs D, Chelsea, London

The expertise and enthusiasm that the Grigoriou team have about workplace productivity and wellbeing is inspiring. In the presentation to us, their illustration of the design features contributing to productive and enjoyable commercial spaces and the evidence to support the thinking was compelling– it really provoked some ideas within the team about how our clients could integrate these into their refurbishments and fit-out projects.”

Upstream Sustainability Services, Jones Lang LaSalle

Thank you, and Elina, for your work on this project – it has been a worthwhile experience to go through and a great introduction for me personally to the Ska rating system.”
